         Black Diamond Fertilizer is a Custom Blend of Phosphate, Calcium, Sulfur, Iron, and Major Trace minerals.   Exceptional, Economical, and Efficient.  It works great on all crops.   Black Diamond is priced considerably less than other commercial fertilizers.   Yield trials and data below.

Phosphate 18.5% Sulfur 7.9% Calcium 13.6% Iron 2%
1400ppm Copper pH 1.8 micronutrients minimal Cadmium

                    MORE ON BLACK DIAMOND FERTILIZER

          *  Black Diamond contains 18.5% Phosphate - a slow release product which provides phosphate plus micronutrients to the plant from germination to harvest. - highly absorbable by the plant

         *  Black Diamond has a exceptionally low (very minimal to 0 reading) of Cadmium, which is very important for niche grain markets.

          *  Black Diamond contains 7.9% Sulfur - likely required in lighter soils for all crops.  tremendous response on Canola at the Agriculture and AgriFood Canada, Research Centre, Brandon, Manitoba.

          *  Black Diamond contains 13.6% Calcium. - improves cell walls during growth and reduces alkaline soils.

          *  Black Diamond has a pH of 1.8

          *  Black Diamond has plant growth enhancing micronutrients.

                              We have included a link on micronutrients.

          *  Black Diamond contains 2% Iron which prevents chleorosis and improves Nitrogen use efficiency.

          *  Black Diamond helps prevent copper deficiencies and Increases copper content of feed.

          *  Black Diamond contains 1400ppm of Copper.

          Black Diamond is a slow release product which is highly bioavailable to the plant.

          - it does not tie up in soils and is readily absorbable by the plant.  It's slow release occurs through the growing season and results in a larger root system (which makes the plant more drought tolerant), stronger stems (which results in less lodging), larger leaves and more foliage (which results in larger heads/pods and greater yield) and overall faster maturity.

  *  Bioavailable

-Black Diamond replenishes the soil solution from which plants feed.

- Dr. Baily has been employed by the Agriculture and AgriFood Canada, Research Centre for over 30 years and he has performed 3 years of research that supports Black Diamonds absorbability of phosphate and other nutrients.

  *  Exceptional

-Black Diamond is the only product on the market which contains a major trace mineral package which is naturally built into the product thus plant health / yields and soil fertility is maximized at the same time.  Blending of trace minerals or separate application of the by the farmer is not necessary.

  *  Economical

- At 60 lbs. of product for lighter soils, and 50 lbs. for clay soils.  It is the most economical product on the market which generates the greatest net returns per acre in both the short and long term.  It is consistently priced below commercial products and includes the micronutrient package and their benefits.

   *  Efficient

- The method of applications the same as commercial products.  Seed placement is recommended for maximum results.

   *   Price: Retail  $140.00 per ton US FUND

EVALUATION OF BLACK DIAMOND PHOSPHATE AS A SOURCE OF PLANT PHOSPHORUS

                                DR. L.D. BAILEY, SENIOR SCIENTIST

AGRICULTURE AND AGRIFOOD CANADA, RESEARCH                 BOX 1000A, RR #3 BRANDON, MB R7A 5Y3

In 1998 the seeding was completed on May 30th as the result of an early spring and good moisture.  On both the clay loam and sandy loam soils, wheat, flax, and canola responded to the application of P-fertilizer.  The largest yield response of the three crops on both soils were to application rates of 44 lbs./acre of Black Diamond mixed with 26lbs/acre of N and to 22lbs/acre Black diamond mixed with 22 lbs./acre of MAP placed with the seed.  At the highest rate of P-fertilizer product, 53 lbs./acre BD, there was a slight yield depression.  The yield depression was not due to emergence damage but may have been due to nutrient imbalance or the "tie up" of some of the micronutrients due to the high levels of P.
